Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Edition is a suite of four products that integrate protection technologies such as antivirus, antispyware, desktop firewall, and intrusion prevention to offer multilayered security and backup-and-recovery capabilities.Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Edition incorporates these products:
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition: protects networked laptops, desktops, and servers ("endpoints") against viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, rootkits, and threats not seen before ("zero-day attacks")
  • Symantec AntiVirus for Macintosh: removes Mac and PC viruses from email attachments, Internet downloads, and other sources
  • Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange: combines antivirus technologies with flexible content filtering for Exchange Server
  • Backup Exec System Recovery Desktop Edition: recovers individual data files and folders or complete Windows desktops or laptops, including recovery to different hardware, virtual environments, or remote locations
Each user licence allows one endpoint to be protected by all the products in the suite.

This product is identical to the version sold through the Symantec website and includes the standard support, renewal, and upgrade options available with retail products.

Installation File and Licence: When your donation request has been approved, SOCIALware will send an email to your organisation email address containing download instructions. Symantec will send a second email within 7 to 10 days with a certificate valid for a user licence and the serial number needed for downloading. Symantec estimates download times will range from about 4 hours for T1 connections to 47 1/2 hours for 128-Kbps connections.
